In 2018, one of our elk was severely injured during the Elk Toss, and we sent it to a rehabilitation facility in New Jersey to heal. It took much longer than anticipated, and the journey of the elk back to Danville took a long and convoluted path.. Click on the image below to find out more about how the elk returned to its home.**
**UPDATE: The elk sustained significant antler injuries at the 2025 Elk Toss and is now in State College being treated.
