Post Elk Toss Newspaper Article

An article about the Elk Toss was published in the Daily Item's Sunday Item. It does not appear that the article was posted on their website, but they did post a photo album that includes 33 photos of our event, including these...

We plan to scan the article from the newspaper and post it to the blog at some point soon.

We also anticipate that the Danville News will publish an article tomorrow.

Newspaper Error

The Sunbury Daily Item included a short blurb in today's paper which contained a blatant factual error. This weekend's event is the 75th Annual Elk Toss, not the 7th. DGS Officers will be contacting the newspaper to request a correction. We also do not agree with the use of the word "lad" to describe Van Wagner. See photo below.

Another Elk Toss Preview Article

The Daily Item of Sunbury published another Elk Toss preview article today. The article on the newspaper's website did not include any photos, but the paper version included a photo of Franz Klingermann.
